How To Claim Your Show on Apple Podcasts

Use Apple’s claim process when your show is already available on Apple Podcasts but is missing from your Apple Podcasts Connect account. Claiming keeps the existing listing. A new-show submission, a hosting migration and Apple HLS video setup are separate workflows.

Check eligibility and the current feed

Confirm the public Apple show URL and the RSS feed Apple currently reads. During a host migration, placing a token in a new feed will not help until Apple reads that feed or its redirect.

Some shows cannot use Apple’s standard claim flow, including shows where claiming is disabled or cases involving channels, subscriptions or Apple-hosted audio. Check Apple’s current eligibility guidance if the option is unavailable; do not create a replacement listing.

Add the verification token

  1. Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect with the account that should manage the show.
  2. Under More Actions, choose Claim Existing Show.
  3. Paste the existing public Apple Podcasts show URL and continue. Check that Apple identifies the correct show.
  4. Copy the verification token Apple provides. It expires after seven days, so add it promptly to the feed Apple currently reads.
  5. In Flightcast, select that podcast and open Podcast Settings → Integrations. In the Apple claim area, choose Add verification token or Manage token.
  6. Paste the token into the claim-token field and save it. Flightcast places it in the RSS feed. Saving alone does not confirm that Apple has verified the claim.
  7. Return to Apple Podcasts Connect, follow any remaining prompts and check for the show in your account.

If it does not complete

Apple’s guidance says verification should occur within 24 hours once the token is available. If it remains unresolved, check the token’s expiry, the exact show URL, public feed access and whether Apple is still reading an old host’s feed. Then use Apple support if the claim still cannot be verified.

If Flightcast’s RSS URL is unavailable, check your active subscription and onboarding stage. If the claim card is absent, first check whether your Apple connection already has show access. Avoid disconnecting it or recreating the show to make the card appear.
