How To Submit Your Podcast to iHeartRadio Video (and other video platforms)

iHeartRadio supports video podcasts delivered through RSS. Use Flightcast’s iHeartRadio video opt-in for the selected show, then check its review and playback status. General RSS video settings alone do not complete this process.

Check your show first

Your show must allow video and have at least one video episode. An audio-only show configuration is not eligible for this video setup. Published episodes also need completed HLS processing before their video can be delivered.

Search iHeartRadio for an existing listing before submitting. Keep that listing and its public show URL if your podcast is already available there. You do not need to repeat an audio submission simply to request video.

Submit the video opt-in

  1. Select the correct podcast and open Podcast Settings → Directories → iHeartRadio.
  2. For a show already linked for audio, choose Enable iHeart Video. For an unlinked show, use Submit for Video where offered. If your existing listing is missing from Flightcast, check and save its public iHeartRadio show URL first.
  3. Review the publisher name and contact email in the setup form. Correct them before submitting.
  4. Read the linked Content License Agreement, Terms of Use and Podcast Content Policy. Confirm the rights certification only if you are the publisher or authorised to act for them and can license the submitted content.
  5. Review the RSS-video acknowledgement. If RSS video is off, submitting can turn it on and expose the video to other compatible apps that read your feed, as well as iHeartRadio.
  6. Submit only when you agree to those terms and effects.

Check what happened

Video Submitted means Flightcast has recorded and queued your opt-in. It does not establish that iHeartRadio has approved the show or that video is playable.

Check the public iHeartRadio listing and an eligible episode after review and feed processing. Review timing can vary, and publication is not guaranteed. If the request remains unresolved, provide support with the show URL, submission date and the status or error you see. Avoid repeated submissions or creating another listing.

Other video platforms have their own requirements. Use each destination’s current setup instructions rather than treating the iHeartRadio opt-in as permission or approval everywhere.
