What the Flightcast Chrome extension does

The Flightcast extension helps with supported imports and setup tasks that need access through your browser. Depending on the connection, it can help import playlists, match episodes, retrieve historical analytics and guide you through parts of onboarding.

Install it when Flightcast’s current setup flow asks for it. Use the official Flightcast listing linked from the app, and review the requested browser permissions.

The extension works alongside Flightcast’s server-side integrations. Some providers use managed imports that do not depend on the older extension flow. Installing or reinstalling the extension will not fix every missing-data problem, and it does not make all analytics real time.

When an import asks you to sign in to a provider, use the correct account with access to the show. Follow the task’s status in Flightcast. Keep any required browser tab open until that task finishes.

If Flightcast cannot detect the extension, check that it is enabled in the same browser profile, return to Flightcast and reload the page. Contact support if the connection still fails.

If an older Spotify analytics series ends after migration, check the active reporting source before changing the extension or reconnecting Spotify.
